The Laboratory for "Qualitative Research in Psychology and Psychological Well-Being" was founded in 2015 and is the 1st Qualitative Research Laboratory in a Higher Education Institution in Greece. It aims to promote and develop the qualitative methodology in psychology as well as in related scientific fields and applied scientific fields such as counselling, therapy, education, health and work.
Beyond the core objectives, it utilizes a variety of modern research methods in qualitative methodology including digital technologies to produce new knowledge usable by society. Within the framework of the Laboratory, doctoral theses and diploma theses are prepared with themes that connect new technologies with the field of Counseling Psychology & Therapy (e.g. digital self, internet and body image, communication, internet counseling, psychosocial effects of digital technologies, etc.).
